As the New Business Director Andy was responsible for replenishing the businesses workbook and played an integral role developing a pipeline of work in excess of £5bn which included converting £1bn into orders. During this time Andy formed strong relationships with investors, developers, cost and project management consultants, architects, and engineers.

Andy led the businesses efforts in developing a strategic plan which included establishing an understanding of the market, connecting with decision makers, developing a pipeline of work and recruiting a project.

This led to reviewing both geographic opportunities and sector opportunities, many of which were via Multiplex’s existing customer base. Andy spent time on the ground in Canada, the USA and Denmark and successfully negotiated two.
