- Undertook a research project on neuro-vestibular changes that occur during and after spaceflight, and how these changes are quantified.- Learnt about the work of the other biomedical engineers, which included the Skinsuit project, a garment which aims to reduce bone and muscle wasting in the spine by exerting a load on the astronauts while in microgravity.
