Hi, I’m Aneta.I think of myself as a mother, an entrepreneur, a business & branding consultant, and a product of Eastern Europe. In this order.My professional career pays tribute to a relentless drive to move things forward, to an ambitious commitment to build professional reputation, and to having been raised in a challenging communist setup (hence my zero tolerance for hypocrisy) followed by a post-communist transformative environment. It didn't hurt either that I've gathered extensive academic and professional credentials and marketing experience: I graduated Economics at ASE Bucharest and hold an MBA from Open University Business School (UK). I was the first Romanian Chartered Marketer and I have been a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) since 2011. Pioneering branding and design services in Eastern Europe, I have practiced marketing and branding consultancy on the local and international emergent markets (CEE, SE Asia, Northern Africa) for almost three decades. I am the author of “Branding on the Eastern Front” and, time allowing, a conference speaker and juror of national and international design and branding competitions. When I co-founded Brandient in 2002, I left behind a decade-long corporate career in marketing and communication, with no golden parachute other than fulfilling my professional dream.In short, the way I have approached my work and my career is based on respect for knowledge, talent and practice, on critical thinking and creativity employed to solve business problems. Shorter: no BS, true passion, results driven. Above all, I thrive on the trust that I've earned from emergent entrepreneurs & C-suite managers whom I have advised over time.
