I have enjoyed 20+ years working in Pittsburgh, New York and London in handling “soup to nuts” for busy c-level executives, smoothing the path and solving problems in the areas of recruiting, finance, consulting, banking, investment banking and television. I love being a strong Executive Assistant because once upon a time, I was in NEED of a strong executive assistant: I was an Office Manager handling the build-out of new office space and moving everyone into it, in addition to the usual office manager duties. It was a BIG management role that taught me how important it is to have solid, capable assistance in getting the big job done. I saw the support role as an “underserved niche” and it strengthen my resolve to focus on being the best Executive Assistant I could be! Since then I’ve made a career of having fun helping executives to feel they are plowing forward with that “best assistant.”
