• Manage the annual IT budget of 11 million.• Steers the National Capital Area (NCA) succeeds in fulfilling all DHS internal customer Wireless and IT Commodity requirements. • Enrich the central interface between National Capital Area (NCA) and our customers on IT commodity matters to provide Information Technology (IT) Asset Management and Program Management Office (PMO) services via the Asset Management Office. • Resolve delivery issues by interacting with vendors; provide timely responses and tracking of customer inquiries for IT commodity purchases, enhancements, repairs and upgrades. • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. • Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy. • Draft Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ)• Conduct, review and analyze daily audits on DHS Property Transfer Receipts within the Remedy Database ensuring all IT equipment is transferred.• Provide a weekly audit to the client that documents all of the weekly findings.• Provide analysis, and communication variance explanations to appropriate departments and Sr. Management each month.• Develop plan including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program. Participates in various budget meetings to improve program oversight to develop, realign and improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness SOPs• Receive, asset tag and record all new property in accordance with regulations; guidelines issued; charged for property for federal and contractor personnel. Conducted annual inventory of all DHS assets.
