  • Dragon Age Day
    Co-Founder
Dragon Age Day Jan 2018 - Present
Co-Founder and Creative Director. Helped to launch Dragon Age Day (now an accepted global event) in 2018 as a primary Co-Founder, alongside Founder Teresa M. and Co-Founders Savvy B., Ghil Dirthalen, Andrastini, and Alistair SM James. Accomplishments included strategizing launch, contacting and setting up chosen charities, managing volunteers, and bringing in Dragon Age game celebrities, artists, writers, and more to promote the Dragon Age games on an annual basis (December 4) while also raising money for a worthy cause each year. Singlehandedly reached out to celebrities from 2018 to 2023 to support our efforts and donate signed items, while also setting up Slack workspaces to manage 35-50 volunteers annually. Duties included strategizing charities, outreach, promotion, teams, volunteers and channels, while also co-managing tasks, editing and publishing regular newsletters, working with major game companies on donations and promotion, and more. I've also served as the main media presence for our effort, interviewing celebrities, writers, and other artists on camera for YouTube and Twitch (including Steve Valentine, Alix Wilton Regan, Mark Hildreth, and more), as well as helming and taking part in charity TTRPG gaming events. To date, I've helped us to raise more than $71,000 for charity (100% of proceeds gathered directly through Tiltify) while also helping to positively promote one of BioWare's most popular game titles on a global scale. As of 2023, 5 years later, Dragon Age Day is now a global phenomenon and accepted fandom holiday/event. I've garnered dozens of gaming press articles each year, as well as repeated celebrity support including such widely recognized talents as Gareth David Lloyd, Alix Wilton Regan, Steve Valentine, Sumalee Montano, Gideon Emery, Ramon Tikaram, Mark Hildreth, Jon Curry, Allegra Clark, Nunzio DeFilippis & Christina Weir, Matthew Mercer and the cast of "Critical Role," Patrick Weekes, Alec Newman, Corinne Kempa, and many more!

I've created content for projects of all kinds, including original web/MarCom content, as well as author marketing and setup across Amazon, GoodReads, and more. As a longtime editor, I've sat at the desk as the editor of a major computer magazine (Computer Currents), managing a full crew of freelance writers, as well as providing line and copy editing for content of all kinds, from articles, lectures, pages, and other materials, to book-length projects (nonfiction and fiction).
