Throughout the merger between Countrywide and Bank of America, I helped identify and highlight cost savings and revenue opportunities, as well as identifying increased costs due to changing business circumstances.

As division Chief Administrative Officer, I was responsible for all HR related functions, governance, planning, and administrative support for the Loan Administration division, consisting of over 10,000 associates in 6 primary locations. I also maintained responsibility for strategic planning and operational risk management for the servicing division.

Supporting the Loan Administration Division, I managed all financial analysis and reporting functions. I also created and directed the strategic planning process for the division, which facilitated growth from 2.5 million loans to 9 million loans. I implemented a risk management process which allocated IT resources to the projects with the greatest return. The risk management process highlighted key operational risks and related controls to minimize control breakdowns resulting in an improved customer experience with the lowest losses possible.

Subsequent to the merger with Glendale Federal Bank, I managed operational areas responsible for key branch and back office support including internal audit, centralized branch phone support, and policy and procedure creation and management.

As consumer product manager, I was responsible for all consumer checking, savings, and loan products including product design, pricing and fee structure, profitability, training, disclosures, and compliance.
