I initially came on board with Archstone to manage a property that was in distress and wanting to be placed on the market. Within 8 months, I brought this property up from distress to profitable and successfully assisted in the completion of the sale. I was then promoted to the Flagship community in Arizona for Archstone (Archstone Arrowhead). I was responsible for the day to day operations, team development for this team, as well as assisting to oversee the operations of our two other communities in Arizona. In addition, I have created best practices that are now being used company wide. My innovation, determination and successful management style have all contributed to my success, in addition to my extensive knowledge of marketing, customer service and my vast understanding of financials and importance of meeting your bottom line budget.

I was responsible for the day-to-day operation of 352 units to hands on management of multi-property management totaling 432 units. In addition to the standard responsibilities of property management of multi-family homes, I maintained REIT compliance in all fashions. I have mentored new managers within our company, participated in company wide marketing efforts and trained the on-site staff. I have extensive knowledge and abilities in budgeting and forecasting. In addition, I consistently meet or exceed my sales goals. I am also responsible for the creation and implementation of business and management plans, to include retention and marketing plans, as well as coaching, motivating and directing a staff of up to 10 employees.

Duties included, but are not limited to the day-to-day operations and reporting of all phases of property management In addition to the standard responsibilities of this position I have also participated in, and headed up, Due Diligence Inspections, Property Acquisitions and the training of staff. I have audited other properties within our portfolio. I have been a “mentor” to new managers who have joined our team. I have gained extensive knowledge in preparing budgets and meeting the bottom line NOI and EGI. I have the ability to deal directly with the clients who have hired our management company to successfully oversee the success of their investments. I have been nominated as Manager of the Year for the 2005 AMA Tributes. In addition, the team I lead has been nominated as Best Team and Community of the year for 2005.
