➢ Communication:• Articulate the value proposition of the organization through marketing and communications to increase awareness of the Chamber’s contributions to the business community.• Lead the marketing initiatives of the Chamber to create greater synthesis and consistent branding across all types of collateral, digital platforms and in event look and feel.• Achieve and maintain visibility in the community to create awareness of the programs and services and the political influence of the Chamber.• Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with key external stakeholders, including other business groups, public officials, agency staff, researchers, advocacy organizations, foundations.• Follow local, state and federal government elected officials and staff to understand current pro-business and workforce policies.• Leverage data to advance the objectives of the business community through public policy, events and media.➢ Branding:• Oversee all brand and marketing materials including digital communications, social media, event video production and printed marketing pieces to ensure integration across events, platforms and channels.• Oversee digital communications including the weekly newsletter to membership and the board of directors and social media strategy including content creation, targeted sponsored posts and ad buys.• Work closely with the Sales Team to market online advertising opportunities and fulfill ad sales agreements.➢ Events:• Work closely with the head of events to conceptualize and promote industry-leading initiatives, programs and sponsorships.• Participate in identifying speakers, creating talking points and scripts and framing the event to make sure all speakers and content stay true to the intended theme, look & feel and run of show.• Oversee the creation and branding of marketing materials to drive sponsorship, attendance and general awareness of events.
