I started working at BNR (Bell-Northern Research) in speech recognition. Later BNR became part of Nortel and then Nortel Networks. I worked all the time in the ADAS+ team (Automated Directory Assistance System). I developed several components within this big system, from statistics gathering to telephony-related components that handled the handshaking with the DMS telephony switch.
