October 2007 - October 2009: served as the Chief Operating Officer for The East River Development Alliance (currently dba Urban Upbound). Oversaw all internal operations for the organization, including: recruiting, hiring, and managing senior level staff members; working with the organization's accounting and auditing firms to ensure prudent fiscal management; supporting the Program Director in the operation of direct service programs; and, interfacing with institutional and individual donors to sustain and grow the organization's revenue streams. September 2006 - September 2007: Led the initiative to create a Community Development Credit Union for people who lived and/or worked in the public housing neighborhoods served by East River Development Alliance - a chronically un/underbanked community. In this role, I wrote a business and marketing plan for the credit union; worked with the local community (residents and key stakeholders) to build support for the effort; and, wrote grant proposals and made funder presentations to raise funds for the endeavor.

Worked with a enterprise-wide operational risk management team to administer a risk management tool that was used by all business units within JPMorgan Chase and licensed to several other Fortune 500 firms. The risk management system allowed managers to document, assess, measure, and mitigate operational risks. In this role: I interfaced with the business managers (end user) and the programming team to plan system fixes and upgrades; provided sales support for external clients, including presentations and system demonstrations; and, provided implementation and training guidance to new users.
