Aug 2010– Oct 2020Masharie LLC, a Dubai based private equity company and a subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC - listed on Dubai Financial Market, has a diverse portfolio of 8 companies (until 2012: 23) engaged in aluminium, lighting, switchgear, interiors and fit-outs, construction and allied activities / products and services in the Middle East region.During this tenure, the core responsibilities included:• Solely maintaining books of accounts using BAAN ERP accounting software up to finalization• Liaising with banks (via email, telephone)• Preparation and issuing of tax invoices, VAT return working and successfully filing of return on quarterly basis on FTA portal. Also maintaining the FAF file as per FTA requirement for refund process Preparation of monthly cash flows and closely working with Finance Manager / CFO• Preparation of monthly bank level reconciliation, debtor & creditors report• Issuance of monthly debit and credit notes to Masharie Group companies and preparing monthly inter-company reports on balance reconciliation and confirmation• Regular interaction and day-to-day correspondence with subsidiary FM• Maintaining bank facility chart for Group Companies and ensuring accuracy of Trial Balance, calculation of monthly and yearly accruals• Coordinating with external auditors for the preparation of Financial Reports and ensuring compliance with external audit requirements• Coordinating with internal auditors for adequacy and compliance of control procedures• Successful preparation of employee’s month-on-month payroll through WPS system, calculation of End of Service & leave salary benefits• Other responsibilities include – Interest calculation on term loans, overdraft balances of banks, Handling Petty Cash Tenancy Contract preparation for Labour Camp & maintaining rental income chart Issuing LPO, follow up on Accounts receivables & payables & reconciliation as well.
