By accessing personal counselling can and in most cases will allow you to manage the addiction whatever it may be. Allowing your counsellor to believe in you and to be able to see the potential within you increases you own self worth and increases you self confidence. By allowing a professional into your world and building up trust will make a huge difference in how you see yourself and how others see you..Gambling is on the increase and by far the most devastating addiction an individual may have. Gambling affects the whole family not just the person with the addiction. Yes other addictions do affect the family too but with gambling you can and often do looses everything you and your family have worked for all your life. It is never to late to ask for help to control your gambling. Facilitating Anger management sessions offering clients who have anger problems to understand and deal with their emotions. offering individual and group sessions looking at triggers and possible causes of anger problems. I worked as a counsellor at Central Palz for seven years which was a palliative care charity offering support and care for patients who had been diagnosed with a life limiting illness including all cancers, MS, and motor neuron disease to mention just a few.Counselling patients on a one to one basis and a group basis. Counselling patients as well as their carers dealing with the illness and bereavement. Bereavement counselling can offer help with dealing with the loss of a loved one who has passed through illness or through an act of crime or accident. Accepting the loss of a loved one can take many years but by accessing bereavement counselling can help the person move on. Show less
