While in shipping and receiving I verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. I compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Show less

This position was responsible for handling kit interaction with United Technologies Corporation (UTC). I started received kits (suitcases with parts to be assembled) that had an issue (missing part), and my function was to resolve the complication by conducting an investigation of inventory, securing the missing part, and completing the kit. I would keep up a steady line of communication directly with the customer during the inquiry.
