Ms. Dugan has 12 years of experience as a geologist in the environmental consulting field in the State of Alaska. This includes a wide variety of experience ranging from contaminated site monitoring, assessment, and remediation; to off-shore seismic and environmental land permitting on the North Slope of Alaska. Through these experiences, Ms. Dugan has established a thorough working knowledge of the particular challenges of North Slope permitting, which frequently involves sensitive environments, threatened and endangered species, important local stakeholders, as well as distinct but interconnected federal and state regulatory bodies. This role entails not only communicating in a clear and concise manner with regulators and stakeholders to apply for permits and receive permits, but also organizing the permit stipulations in a permit matrix to assign responsibilities and ensure that full compliance is achieved before, during and after each project is complete. Ms. Dugan has performed several Project Management roles in the environmental monitoring and remediation sector, where she manages personnel, schedules field work, manages budgets, interfaces with the client, and delivers reports to the client with a high degree of quality, on schedule and within budget. Ms. Dugan is a strong technical writer with practical field experience which gives her a great deal of perspective and a realistic understanding of the environmental consulting and compliance process.
