Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist
Current• Drive the merchandising strategy and optimize product presentation on carvedesigns.com in partnership with the VP of Ecommerce• Successful launch of a Shopify 2.0 website in March 2023. Working closely with Web Development and Creative Marketing Teams to enhance UI and UX sitewide.• Execution of our Fit Experience in March of 2024. Included is a Swim Style & Fit Finder page along with a Fit Quiz, leaning on AI to help our customer find her best fit. Links attached.• Collaborate with the Marketing Team in maintaining the campaign calendar, product launch management and product priorities to support sales and marketing plans.• Product Detail Page Set up, Tagging, Page layout, Images, Reviews, pre-orders, and UGC Optimization.• Sitewide imagery and copy curation (i.e. PDP studio/lifestyle imagery selects, descriptive copy, homepage imagery and layout presentation)• Adjust product positioning on site and take a lead in campaign SKU curation in accordance with DTC objectives and inventory positions.• On Site Search/Merchandising/Recommendations – Optimize failed search terms, act upon trending phrases and inventory levels using website merchandising tool (Searchspring).• Product Merchandising for Paid Media, Influencer Campaign, and Email campaigns.• Set up promotions across the website in accordance with promotion calendar, including discount code creation and product positions on page.• Analyze site metrics, understand current trends, opportunities, assortment, competition, and company’s vision of business. Translate this knowledge into recommendations for improving customer experience and improve CVR.• Taxonomy Optimization: Collaborate with SEO agency and development agency to develop best practices for website.
