Responsible for developing all styles in the men's & women's categories. Building all Tech Packs. Defining and upholding the fit intension for all garments. Maintaining the graded specs and pattern library. Researched PLM Systems and implemented BeProduct for the company. Communicates with vendors on fit and construction revisions. Reviews, tests and choses proper garment wash at the product level. Maintain a high standard for each style throughout the production process. Works closely with the textile designer for layouts, placements, and dimensions. Conduct bulk audits when shipments have been received.

Responsible for all woven new bodies, updated styles, & carryovers season after season Creates tech packs, construction sketches, & hang tag/label sketches for all styles. Works very closely with Design, Materials, & Production to execute their every style from start to finish. Uses my expertise in garment construction & fabric attributes to guide my team. Conducts frequent menswear and womenswear fittings in development and pre-production stages. Sends fit & production comments to factories all over South East Asia. Reviews and adjusts base size patterns for proper shape & balance. Checks graded specs and full nest sets to assure the assigned rule table is being used. Develops Block Patterns for 3 different fit intentions for men's & women's collections.

• Completes 1 to 2 Single Patterns & Packages per day (Varies upon difficulty and available time)• Keeps a close relationship with Cutters & Sewers to guarantee samples are executed properly• Stays in constant contact with the Merchandisers in order to understand their vision• Form fits each the sample as they are received. Check proportion and length to be sure the JR Dress guidelines are being achieved• Revises patterns according to suggestions or design changes made by the Merchandisers.• Reviews all New Designs & Cut Sheets with the Merchandiserso If needed, finds & confirms more relevant references to better assist the Pattern Maker in Development• Processes All Copies/Recuts in a timely manner• Monitors projects as they are being completedo To assure that a steady flow of samples are sent down to the Merchandisers for reviewo When specific deadlines are given, I am tracking those styles more diligently.o Coordinating with the Sample Room Manager to make sure those deadlines are met• Tallies the daily and weekly number to better assess productivity of our department.• Guides my team members with any pattern questions and guide them through development to guarantee the Byer JR Dress look is being reached• Trains any new or promoted employees into our division.• Prepares Trim Templates & Tech Packs for Overseas Development. • In the absence of my manager, do my best to help assist those in need within or outside of our department. • Sends weekly workload emails to my team members. A seasonal position working under an performance costume designer, specifically dance, color guard, and percussion at high school and college level. Grades patterns according to individual measurements for both male and female bodies. Works closely with the designer to ensure the fit is perfected according to specific customer. Assembles costumes in its final stage. Resolves any structural issues during the drafting and construction process and handles several different projects on a daily basis. Uses embellishments such as aplique, hand and spray panting, beading, etc to achieve unique accents.Specializes in stretch fabrics.

Draping, pattern making, and constructing samples and possible final garments for the upcoming seasons. Experiments with draping techniques to find new and innovative ways to alter traditional apparel that supports Jill Giordano's RTW architectural design style.

Partners with designer Elena Slivnyak on a start-up apparel company. Achieving first thru final patterns in her Sportswear meets Couture women's collections, bouncing ideas off each other to achieve a high-end look using unconventional fabrics.
