About Anna Fox
I recently graduated with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Colorado Mesa University and passed the national board exam in early 2024. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2019 receiving a Bachelors in Health and Exercise Science with a focus on health promotion. During my time at CSU, I was fortunate to have an internship at Craig Rehabilitation Hospital in Denver, CO where I worked alongside an interdisiplinary team with the spinal cord/ traumatic brain injury population. During my time at Colorado Mesa University I have actively volunteered with Colorado Discover Ability and the local food banks as well as had fieldwork experience at Jeffco Public Schools, Volunteer's Of America (VOA) PACE center and Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Additionally I completed level II fieldwork at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO working in the ICU, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation setting as well as an outpatient pediatric clinic serving children with sensory needs.I personally believe that my strong work ethic, communication style, creative and empathetic nature guides me professionally. I feel strongly that I can contribute to clients in the field of occupational therapy, and I feel passionate about creating a positive, profound and lasting impact on a client’s quality of life. I am working on developing more self-confidence in my documentation and understanding my ability to grow. Another area I am working on is asking for help as I can produce more high-quality work as a result of receiving help from those around me. I hope to increase my knowledge, clinical experience, values and professional strategies to be able to work adequately and autonomously in all areas of occupational therapy.
