I am a fourth year student at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo working towards a degree in Environmental Management and Protection. Taking courses in an array of subjects has strengthened my understanding of how important it is to analyze environmental issues from a variety of perspectives. I hope to continue exploring my interests and building expertise in pathways towards environmental justice, equitable resource accessibility, and sustainable resource use.I just came back from studying in Paris, where I discovered many cultures and landscapes that were new to me. My time abroad deepened my cultural relativism and understanding of different values as well as my passion for navigating unfamiliar yet exciting situations. I apply this mindset to my personal, academic, and professional life by synthesizing many types of knowledge into the work I do.
