I have 17 years experience in the health and aged care industry, which includes working as an aged care consultant. During this time my work has included been an employee, or consultant to the public and private sector as well as not-for profit organisations, indigenous health and the aged care industry. My experience in the aged care sector has been vast varying in responsibilities from clinical management, managing facilities, governance, compliance, developing and implementing systems, development new of training programs, change management, project management, as well as assisting in the acquisition and establishment of new aged care facilities. My experience includes ensuring culturally sensitive solutions as well developing strategies to maximise organisational performance addressing the strategic and risk management of the organisation and focusing on the importance of rigorous governance frameworks and system implementation. As Director and CEO of A.K Consultancy, I am responsible for all aspects of my business, and clients, implementing and monitoring operational management systems, training and evaluation as per projects.
