Researcher for the project “Mimicking plant epicuticular wax micro-architecture through three-dimensional (3D) printing for water repellent biomimetic innovation”

Ph.D Thesis: “Multi-material hot-melt inkjet 3D printing: towards complex and personalised dosage form”, Design and development of a precisely controlled multi-drug solvent-free inkjet 3D printing system obtained via heavy modification of a commercially produced single head hot-melt inkjet 3D printer (PiXDRO LP50). Establishment of a library of material compatible with the technology in consideration and suitable for pharmaceutical application. Exploration of the effect of complex geometrical design on drug delivery and how the newly fashioned dual material hot-melt inkjet 3D printing system can aid in the process by adding a degree of freedom allowing multiple material in one print.
