Initially hired to support Microsoft O.S. and infrastructure evaluation. Designed and implemented Server 2012 Active Directory domain environment for 80 + nodes with relevant services and tools including GPOs, security groups, file and storage (shadow copy), file shares, WSUS, internal DNS, print server services and MS Server backup schedule. Built Linux server as LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL PHP) to house project tracking database. Support off-site email (IMAP) for office and mobile devices. Support Linux (GUI and prompt); Ubuntu, Kubuntu some Centos and Fedora for in-house kiosk stations. Recommended and successfully implemented a PTP solution connecting our two buildings (Ubiquiti). Suggested the need of a Disaster Recovery Plan for our technology infrastructure. Drafted DRP; coordinated with H.R., our CFO and CEO(for information), wrote the full documentation for rebuilding domain servers and restoring data from backup, contacts, flow charts and call trees.

Initially hired to upgrade the Track-It Server from v. 6.5 to v. 8. After implementing new Track-It server into production, my responsibilities migrated to Help Desk. Duties included troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues for desktops, laptops and wireless devices, installing and upgrading software (when approved), creating comprehensive notes of issues and resolutions, and maintaining communication with co-workers.

Active Directory reorganization of container objects and group policies followed by upgrade to Windows Server 2003. Managed McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO), Systems Management Server for Microsoft updates to clients, server/client side maintenance and support for Stromberg Timekeeping system. Initial installation, upgrade and maintenance of Track-It! Helpdesk and inventory tracking system. VMS/VAX weekly tape load for in-house scheduling application of bus routes.

Managed group of 5 technicians, while working alongside my group providing support to 200+ users. Inventory control of server systems. Ordering for hardware client systems, researched upgrade and deployment process for volume licensing.

Knitter for production and some seamstress work. Hourly and by piece-work, as appropriate. Provided personal equipment and tools for work. Plain knitting with eyelash and other exotic materials (inconsistent gauge), jacquard with tuck patterning, and sample work.Contributions to office duties, included entering and organizing client base into database format, line drawings, inventory check, and shipping and receiving as needed.
