I am a former public school music teacher who worked as a K-12 educator at Maple Valley Public Schools. While a teacher, I had the privilege of working with students from all ages and backgrounds, was responsible for running the music department budget, creating content specific curriculum, teaching virtually and in-person through the pandemic, and so much more. In the winter of 2021, I was nominated for a GRAMMY as an excellent music educator, and was 1 of 200 candidates that progressed to the semi-finals. From there, I pivoted to the business world and am now working on completing my MBA with an HR emphasis. I am currently responsible for the marketing strategies, managing customer conflicts and orders, as well as the acting liaison between sales, logistics, and purchasing on my team. On top of this, I am also responsible for creating and analyzing data reports for our team to strategically grow in the future.
