Using SEO tactics, data and analytics, I created and positioned the editorial content on the site to help grow Nurole’s membership, turn it into a governance and diversity knowledge hub and make it an internationally-known brand. I wrote news articles, features on governance, not-for-profits, sustainability, and diversity, and conducted interviews with global decision-makers, such as green energy guru Britt Ide. I edited and grew the open rate of the newsletters and developed the Twitter and LinkedIn feeds. I initiated content-sharing opportunities with others in the diversity space, ghostwrote opinion pieces for the CEO, which I placed in external media, and crafted successful award applications and speeches.

As launch editor of this service, I grew the readership to over 20,000 unique monthly visitors. I achieved this by listening to user feedback, optimising the site for SEO, and exploiting social media. I drove the content strategy to ensure that the site remained politically impartial. I analysed UK government and EU notices and interviewed business leaders and policymakers. I commissioned, wrote, and edited the news, ed note, and features, focusing on timely, targeted engaging content to prepare businesses for Brexit. I produced the weekly newsletters and I liaised with the PR team to help promote the site across the national and international press. I also represented the company on global radio and TV.
