Been on the women’s basketball team at Tennessee Tech for the past three seasons. Being on this team has provided many opportunities to grow in being a leader and person. Have been a valuable leader for the team on and off the court over the past two years. Learned how to overcome adversity, be a great teammate, and the importance of teamwork. Will also be returning for my fifth year while gaining my master’s degree as well.

Gained useful knowledge under Sam Brooks for an internship with Future Ready, which is the online learning center for Putnam County Schools. Had the opportunity to see online teachers interact with their classrooms, as well as how the executive staff operates day-to-day. Also was able to see behind-the-scenes operations that help their organization run smoothly and made many valuable connections with people in their company.
