Strategic planning and execution of all current customer service and new hire positions. This includes managing and leading processes for continuous improvement of training and development. The emphasis is on customer care, quality management, workforce planning, coaching, mentoring, and training. Strategically create, plan, and run training programs for the Customer Service Department by developing custom training programs that may take place online, in classrooms, or training facilities. Essential Functions: • Assess needs Use surveys, interviews, and consultations to identify training needs. This may include learning about work situations that require training to help employees. Create materials Design training manuals, online learning modules, course materials, and other resources. Write instructor manuals, supplemental materials, job aids, and video and audio-visuals. • Deliver training Use a variety of instructional techniques, such as group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos, to present training programs to employees at all levels. • Evaluate programs Test trainees to measure progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training. They may also assist in evaluating training programs overall. Establish a mentoring program to ensure the development of employee’s progression and skill development. •Schedule classes, identify facilities and speakers, monitor costs, set up systems and equipment, and coordinate enrollment.
