I am a marketing and communications professional specialising in strategic corporate, ESG and DE&I communications. Working with the function leads for the company's Safety, Health, Environment, Community and Sustainability teams to develop long-term strategies in support of the company's ambitious goals in the aforementioned, critical, areas. A key element of the role is also developing and managing the supporting communications and engagement programmes, reaching out.

Working closely with the CEO and the Director of Strategy the role held responsibility for developing and implementing the company's internal communications and brand strategy in support of the overall business objectives; and leading a team of communications professionals in the successful delivery of such. This was a new role for the company with the remit of developing a strategic internal communications programme in support of the company's group-wide initiatives and employee relations. The role was heavily weighted to employee engagement and HR-related campaigns including the roll-out of new pension schemes, car and benefit changes, and in raising the.

Having previously worked with BAM in a consultative / freelance capacity, I joined the company to review and implement a new internal communications strategy which included developing and launching a new intranet, new social media channels, and employee literature. The role also included supporting the CSR Director in developing the company's employee.

KidsOut is a national children's charity providing social, educational, and rewarding experiences for disadvantaged young people. The role was responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the charity's communications and marketing strategy and corporate marketing partnerships / fundraising.

This was my own consultancy which I set up in response to having started a family and the resulting opportunity to manage the PR, sponsorship, and event management programme for Sanyo as an external partner (previous employer, see below). Initially appointed as the company's PR Manager, having previously managed the Sanyo account within its incumbent agency. Promoted after two years to Advertising & Sponsorship Manager, and then in 1992 to Marketing Communications Manager with responsibility for building and managing the company's brand profile and reputation.
