Project assistant for the division of Integrated Community Services for Children and Families Systems of Care grant. Worked under the project director for SOC and collaborated with other division members to assist with social marketing, developing tools and resources for regional and county level governance, helped facilitate Systems if Care Summit, assisted in Residential Treatment Facility regulation review, sat in on executive cross systems committee meetings, participated in planning team for What’s Great in Our State event, and attended the Early Intervention Coordinating Council quarterly meetings as well as other conferences.

Observation and facilitation of expressive arts activities and interventions in group therapy sessions with adolescent girls. Participation as a promoter and team coach for Girls On the Run in Highland, NY. Responsible for following a curriculum-based program for girls 6th-8th grade that helps them to gain independence and self confidence while learning to set goals.

Advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Operate crisis hotline and conduct individual counseling and intake sessions to provide safety planning, crisis intervention, and education on domestic violence. Provide referrals to other county agencies and safe homes/shelters. Advocate for clients in Family Court.Proficient in Apricot data system.

Assisted school and residential workers in planning and facilitating curricular and extra curricular activities including daily living skills, physical fitness, art and music, and writing and speech for children ages 8 to 21 with autism.
