The Global Volunteering Team aims to make poverty personal in order to activate and inspire change in our volunteers and in their spheres of influence. Key responsibilities include:● Communicating with national partners based in countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America to organise budgets, logistics and itineraries for over 150 volunteers a year.● Providing Spanish translation between the Global Volunteering team and our South American partners. ● Communicating between multiple stakeholders: volunteers, parents, mentors and partners to ensure excellent organisation of trips and pastoral care of volunteers from application to training to debrief. ● Events management: I run multiple events each year ranging from one to five day durations for up to 130 people.

I worked as a Brand Manager to help to recruit the 2012 cohort of graduates and engage Leeds students with Teach First. Key responsibilities included:● Raising brand awareness: taking ideas from concept to completion whilst working remotely from my manager, in order to raise the profile of Teach First. I was responsible for event management aimed at our target audience; Science and Maths students. Additionally I designed and ran numerous promotional stands.● Achieving recruitment targets: I helped our team to exceed our recruitment targets by 30%.
