• Received the Stanford Major Grant for the Ignite pilot study, a remote weight loss study which evaluates the impact of goal-setting on quality of life and weight loss outcomes. Led development of intervention materials, e.g., baseline orientation, quality of life surveys, and weekly action plans.• Researched nutrition information availability for the top U.S. restaurants. Abstract on “Do the Top Chain Restaurants Make Calorie Information Available and Accessible on their Websites?” was presented at the national Society of Behavioral Medicine 2023 conference. Manuscript in preparation.• Received funding through Stanford HB-REX to develop an NIH-funded clinical trial – the Spark trial – with Drs. Michele Patel and Abby King. Spark is a 6-month digital weight loss intervention among adults with obesity. Led development of a remote orientation session and intervention materials (progress reports, lessons, surveys). Presented findings at Stanford Human Biology poster symposium. Study is ongoing.

Assist the Director of Nutrition Studies, Dr. Christopher Gardner, and his team with ongoing projects at the Stanford Prevention Research Center. Projects include SWAP-MEAT Athlete, TWINS, MOMS, and more.Contribute to weekly staff meetings, individual project meetings, and research writing reviews. Clean participant data, conduct analyses on behavior change and the effects of TMAO on the body, and present findings to the research team.

Intern for the Public Service Careers Initiative, a student-run organization partnering with the Stanford BEAM and Haas Centers, to raise the visibility and accessibility of public service careers to Stanford students and alumni.Collaborated with the director of BEAM, Dr. James Tarbox, and the Director of Haas, Leslie Garvin, to create public service career resources (including surveys, documents, and residential education curriculum). Laid the foundation for PSCI by creating an extensive network with Haas and BEAM staff.

Assist with writing a grant proposal to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department on behalf of Second Chance, a non-profit which works to break the cycle of incarceration with impactful intervention programs.Role included formatting documents, coordinating work between the grant lead and writers, compiling a list of job descriptions and resumés, and conducting research on internship and career opportunities for youth in detention centers.
