I have been a Director at VeloViewer since 2014 and have been involved in growing the business and developing strategic partnerships. I'm involved in the oversight of all aspects of the business, I have a more hands-on role leading our work with Race Organisers and Commissaires and have a particular interest in race safety.I have longstanding health/research connections, having previously been an Associate Professor at Sheffield Hallam University. I am now a Visiting Researcher and stay connected through various advisory panels and supervision of PhD students. My research and business interests are in physical activity, sport and healthy ageing. I am passionate about digital solutions in physical activity and sport, moving from academia into a commercial space has enable me to apply my experience in a new setting and is an opportunity to further my knowledge and interest in physical activity in a professional sport context.
