My name is Anna and I am pursuing a degree in Accounting at Miami University's Farmer School of Business. Upon graduation, I will be CPA-eligible and aim to achieve my license within the first year of my career. My passion for finance and accounting is complemented by hands-on experience through internships and involvement in student-led ventures. This past summer, I interned with Ernst & Young in New York, where I gained valuable experience in audit processes, including reviewing financial statements, substantive testing, and engaging in client meetings. Before that, I interned with Tonka Bay Equity Partners, where I prepared investment memorandums, analyzed potential investments, and attended meetings with executives and stakeholders. As an active member of Redhawk Ventures, one of the first student-led venture capital funds in the U.S., I have had the privilege of working alongside a select group of peers to maximize the value of startups in our investment pipeline. This experience, combined with my coursework in financial modeling and business analytics, has further solidified my interest in finance and investment.I have thoroughly enjoyed my previous work experiences and active involvement at Miami University, and I am eager for the opportunities that lie ahead. I look forward to further developing my skills through challenging coursework, gaining new expertise from campus engagements, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. In addition to my professional pursuits, I am actively involved in leadership roles at Miami University. As Vice President of Delta Zeta, I manage chapter operations and coordinate meetings to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Outside academics and work, I am passionate about card games, skiing, pickleball, and the microbiome.
