Anne engages in city-level policy advocacy as a consulting senior policy attorney for Children's Law Center. Anne specializes in housing and education law and policy.From 2019-2022, Anne was a Teaching Fellow and Visiting Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where she taught and mentored and mentors law students as they took on their first clients. Before joining Georgetown, Anne worked at Children’s Law Center, first from 2013-2017 as a Healthy Together staff attorney, where she litigated education and housing conditions cases on behalf of low-income DC parents. In 2017 she transitioned to CLC's policy team, where she advocated for systemic changes to laws and policies impacting DC's most vulnerable children and families.As a law student and young attorney, Anne represented Latina survivors of domestic violence and litigated asylum cases in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. She worked for several organizations advocating for survivors of domestic violence and also spent a summer working in Miami for an organization representing juveniles in immigration detention.
