With the core belief that learning to swim can not only save lives but also open up a world of opportunities, Splash makes a transformative impact on the lives of its learners, empowering them with vital life skills and self-confidence.I was responsible for developing the Adult Programme until 2017 when I relocated to the UK. I have since served as an advisor and as a Splash Champion.

The Swim Lab has evolved from its early days as a “favour” to provide a structured swim program for many of HK’s top amateur triathletes. This grew into a fully fledged tri training program (Institute for Human Performance) in 2007 prior to our rebrand as The Swim Lab in 2015. We are Hong Kong's premier triathlon and open water swim training specialists. Our focus is to prepare triathletes and open water swimmers to be race ready on any given day. We provide an educational and motivating environment for all level of athlete, from a basic skills based course up to technical open water based group sessions. We also offer a premier video analysis program as well as a satellite coaching program, delivering bespoke session to individuals who are geographically constrained from joining us. As founder and creator, I have been involved at every level of management and operations. I am now largely in charge of business development, which includes remote coaching and consulting in program operation and design, training camps and supporting services such as mental skills training, planning and productivity management, and high-performance lifestyle coaching.

I founded Tritons with two of my long-time friends and colleagues from the HK Sports Institute, formalising a community club program to support and serve many of the athletes we were coaching as part of the Institute for Human Performance Triathlon Program. Having spent the formative years building and organizing the club with my co-founders, I spent 2015 as President and was largely responsible for overseeing everything from membership administration to kit design and distribution, communication (website & e-newsletters), education (clinics, workshops, overseas camps), socials & events (clubs races days & invitationals), etc.

My education at BASI Pilates has equipped me with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience of the Pilates method, merging scientific principles with the original teachings of Joseph Pilates. My role was critical in not only mastering the holistic and rigorous approach of BASI, which seamlessly merges scientific principles with the original teachings of Joseph Pilates, but also in passing on this knowledge to aspiring professionals globally, specifically in China and Hong Kong

I joined Stingrays when it was ready to make some changes in order to make the grade as a Division 1 swim team in Hong Kong. I played an influential role in developing the various training groups and was assigned Lead coach of the Top Age Group (TAG) elite squad and the TAG bridge group, which I lead for 2 years. During my tenure, the kids sharpened their skills, learned to train responsibly, pace effectively, and the racing basically took care of itself. They went from being heat swimmers to contenders for age group honours. After leaving Stingrays as a full-time coach, I continued to work with some of my group on an ad-hoc basis on specific skill development for a few years thereafter.

• 1999 FINA CTS 4th World Swimming Championships, Hong Kong: Executive Assistant & Press Liaison. Major responsibilities were to coordinate administrative, organizational and technical requests from over 800 entries. Also responsible for all media accreditation from various officials and overseas correspondents; coordination of awards ceremony and medals presentation. Was appointed the FINA Press Liaison on site as a reflection of my ability to work fast and efficiently, and the simple fact that I knew so much about the sport.• Sports International Ltd: Project Director & Manager for 1998 Vittel SuperJam – an NBA all-star basketball extravaganza; 1998 Hong Kong Open Golf Championships. Responsibilities included: Conceptualizing, planning and realizing sports and entertainment events; Venue, hotel and athlete liaison.• Asia International Management: Project Director & Athlete Management for 1997 Nautica ASTC International Triathlon, Hong Kong; 1997 Timex International Triathlon, Cebu, Philippines. Responsibilities included:• Event management: planning, budgeting and realizing AIM events.• Assisting with contract negotiations and representation agreements for athletes.• Sourcing athletes and event sponsors and athletes for race and event sponsors.• Public relations: advertising and production of event proposals.
