I’m on a mission to put my strategy, operations, people management, and analytical skills to use to fight climate change. I am BPI Building Analyst Certified, I hold an MBA from Berkeley, and I have 10 years of business experience at large corporations and small start-ups. Starting July 2024, I am seeking new opportunities in the electrification movement - Ops leadership or Chief of Staff remote and hybrid roles in the Denver area - and will be taking on some light volunteer projects in the meantime. In 2020, my eyes were opened to the climate and human problem of our buildings: they are responsible for 40% of this country’s energy and 35% of carbon emissions, and the fossil-fuel appliances in our homes are directly responsible for poor indoor air quality and health issues, like asthma. Since then, I have explored ways to help homeowners convert their fossil-fuel burning gas appliances to cleaner, electric alternatives. Since 2020, I have electrified my own home, volunteered for two electrification education organizations (Electrify Now & Go Electric Colorado) and helped grow an electrification software start-up from 1 to 8 full-time employees. Being part of the movement is more than a job. In my spare time I volunteer as a member of the City of Denver's Sustainability Advisory Committee and am supporting a multi dollar fund - the Clean Energy Communities Fund - get off the ground (learn more at: https://www.cecfund.org/).
