My name is Annie McCormick, and I am a senior at Maryville College pursuing a major in finance/accounting. I spent the first half of my college career as a student-athlete, an experience that taught me the value of developing a strong work ethic and communicating effectively with a team, as well as punctuality and dealing with constant competition and adversity. Prior to playing collegiate softball, I grew up playing competitive tennis and was a nationally ranked junior player, which is why I’m also accustomed to working independently and thinking analytically to find solutions on my own. I am currently interested in internship opportunities in the accounting or finance fields during my undergraduate years because of the strengths and passions I have developed throughout my educational and personal experiences.
