    In between the academic years of my MPA program, I returned to GRID3 at CIESIN full-time managing the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning activities, including the development and implementation of a data use and usability survey, key informant interviews with government and non-government partners, and video production of GRID3 support to COVID-19 vaccination in Zambia.I also led an internal review process for GRID3 and conducted two process evaluations with 20 different government MDAs and NGOs in Abuja, Nigeria and Lusaka, Zambia.

    I was a Coordinator for GRID3 at CIESIN, supporting the Sierra Leone country management team where I aided the GRID3 Sierra Leone team on geospatial institutionalization including support for COVAX and health facility and catchment mapping. In support of GRID3 leadership, I developed and maintained new education partnerships for GRID3, including participation in an international GIS working group and representing GRID3 at brown bag luncheons. I also developed a MEL survey instrument in line with GRID3's monitoring and evaluation framework.

    I worked for GRID3 at CIESIN as the Country Manager for Sierra Leone and Somalia. As Country Manager, I launched GRID3 in Sierra Leone developing and implementing the strategies, planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and workflows for various projects in partnership with government MDAs and NGOs including for COVID-19 response, health facility mapping, and the development of the 2021 School Catchment and Infrastructure policy. As country manager for Somalia, I led the engagement with various statistics agencies, including the coordination and implementation of two virtual GIS training series for over 30 government officials.Other responsibilities included the development of MoUs, data management agreements, work plans and proposals, and methodology documentation. I also created communications material, provided geospatial analytical support, produced maps, planned and coordinated in-country workshops and logistics, and participated in a DEIA and decolonization working group.

    The SPIRAL Project implements and tests a new model known as the “CPC”. The Cocoa Production Cluster (CPC) is a fair, transparent and inclusive business model for responsible private-sector investments in agricultural land. Based on the principles of the VGGT, it secures the land tenure rights of the most vulnerable sections of rural society, promotes innovative farm management practices, and generates sustainable returns for all stakeholders.I led the design and development of the first ever land mapping methodology for Sierra Leone's land tenure systems in the Eastern provinces. In addition, I managed the personal data of villages, households, and beneficiaries as well as baseline assessment responses. In tandem, I created the project's Vulnerability and Capacity Data Model, which interpreted Vulnerability Assessment responses for the project baseline and selection of project beneficiaries. Lastly, I used to GIS to manage, analyze, and create maps as planning tools for project intervention areas.
