Develops and maintains an extensive national network of diverse professional contacts to recruit artists, collaborators, and participants.Curates art exhibitions through open calls and documentary projects, and in partnership with artists and organizations, including “Please Touch the Art,” an exhibition that engages all five senses, with a special focus on artists and visitors who are blind or visually impaired.Promotes the Center for Creativity through live television and radio appearances and press releases. Works with TCC marketing staff on communication plans and online content.Actively facilitates workshops and events. Possesses proven event experience in virtual and in-person environments. Works with accessibility professionals to create workshops and events for guests who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, or neurologically diverse.Establishes event policies and procedures. Reviews and signs contracts on behalf of the Center for Creativity. Directs all budget expenditures. Responsible for all aspects of PR and outreach for the statewide nonprofit organization, including media relations, recruiting, marketing, web presence, social media, events, merchandising, publications, and budgeting. Assisted with grantwriting, donor relations, and legislative outreach.
