Key activities and responsibilities:• Providing consulting services with regard to Ukrainian banking and currency legislation;• Participation as a Ukrainian legal counsel in cross-border fundraising transactions involving Ukrainian entities, including drafting and review of transaction documentation, security documentation, corporate documents;• Providing legal services with respect to obtaining the NBU licenses, registration of loan agreements and encumbrances in Ukrainian registers;• Participation in debt restructuring projects;• Drafting legal opinions and memoranda relating to issues connected with Ukrainian legislation, in particular banking and currency legislation;• Providing consulting services with regard to moratorium imposed by Ukrainian government on repayment of the loans raised by state entities and state bodies; • Providing consulting services with respect to settlement between Ukrainian residents and non-residents; • Providing legal analysis of different types of documents such as service agreements, bank guarantees, assignment agreements, factoring agreements;• Working as a member of the initiative group regarding amendments to the currency legislation; • Liaising with the NBU and other state authorities;• Junior staff supervisory responsibility. Main achievements:• Advising European and International Financial Institutions and successful closing several recovery and restructuring projects in Ukraine;• Successful closing of the transactions relating to fund raising by different Ukrainian companies locally and from abroad;• Participation as a Ukrainian legal counsel in the biggest debt restructuring project in Ukraine regarding one of the agricultural companies.
