Each of these boomerang applications gives around 200K revenue per quarter.Key Contributions: GCP big Query stores all the events where we need to take the relevant events for our use cases. Existing Hadoop processes are migrated to GCP big query. Uc4/Airflow is being used to automate our use cases. External tables on top of the GCS bucket in Big Query are created to get the web scraping attributes. SFDC and Epsilon are being used for notification alerts. Spark pipelines to process web scraping attributes from websites. Elmo's in-house tool is being used for AB testing. Store Cash ROI process runs in Hadoop, which sends the coupons to users who dropped off merchant websites without buying and log them back to merchant sites to complete their purchases. This process detects how many offers we send and how many of them turn into actual transactions. Also, it gives various reports for each merchant for a given day, like sent offers count and amount, redeemed offer count and amount, and any fee involved for those transactions. Store cash brings 500k revenue per quarter.Key Contributions: First Party Tracking Information (FPTI) that provides the web log data being processed by a spark. The Kafka pipeline transfers data to Elastic search from HDFS. PySpark and Spark SQL for in memory processing. Hive QL and shell/python scripting for day to day payment data processing. Created couple of Tableau dashboard for monitoring and alerting purpose.
