About Anthony Beecroft

I am a doer..... I get things done!!I am an ideas man who always has a plan. Tenacious and focused I love a challenge. I want to know why you can't and make it work so you can!As Capital Planning and Estates Services Director at the London Clinic I have led many challenging large scale projects, including the £81m design and construction of the largest private cancer centre in London to be built in the last 25 years.I loved this project because of all the people I got to meet and work with and the challenges of dealing with the public face of the project, explaining to people what we were going to do and how it would affect them. A bit like walking through a minefield - but I enjoyed it!I also relished the complexity of working close to the tube line, building a tunnel under the road and working on the large and small scale aspects of the project.This project changed the function of the building and the people within it. I knew I had made my mark- and that the whole organisation was in a better place, with a positive cultural change throughout.I enjoy all the engineering aspects of buildings and how they are managed.Being the keeper of an Estate throughout it's lifecycle with all the challenges and the fun of Legionella, fire risk, health & safety, new projects and lots of others too numerous to mention, it is vital to remember the importance of sustainability.
