Working as a lead expeditor within a small team on the Dupont Project based in Luxemburg. Key duties include chairing weekly progress meetings with Project Manager/ Client to complete the Expediting Status Report (ESR) for formal issue. Managing and coordinating order and supply of various discipline specific equipment, tanks, control stations etc. equating to 35 orders currently. Daily running of reports and maintenance of the Master SDR, expediting and Engineer approval of documentation in our EDMS, Documentum. The Client interface FTP Site is via Webshare. Maintaining production schedules with our external suppliers, to assure we meet the delivery date of equipment outlined in the Purchase Order. Identifying and agreeing milestone payments with Suppliers.

Working with a team of three procurement/contract engineers. Chasing suppliers to onboard contractors and relevant parties to use a new timesheet system introduced by Shell Netherlands. These suppliers are part of Shell’s Organisation based around the world. We use Skype calling, arranging with same on a daily basis, obviously this can be rather difficult due to the many time differences. Meetings are held with Management three, four times a week to discuss the status of contractors due to be loaded into the IQN System.

Working in the construction business as a lead expeditor. Chasing all types of materials, from glass, grout, drills, industrial heaters and sheet metals for windows frames. Visiting sites around London to evaluate priority items to ensure the site is running on schedule. Paying invoices and signing approval certificates.

Working with the client Statoil/Daewoo Shipbuilders & Marine Eng , overseeing the RDS engineers for their approval of drawings and design. Expediting visits to the various valve vendors in Italy/UK. Maintaining delivery dates and shipping materials to site. Clearing invoices and closing orders

Working with a team of ten other expeditors, looking after mechanical vessels, manifolds and steel casting orders with the Project Manager and Requisition Engineer. Liaising with the buyers to clear invoices and approval of documentation. Meetings with our client bi-weekly to go through any problems and improvements to the orders.

Working with a team of buyers, sending out inquiries, and order quotes for pricing equipment ranging from £ to £ per order and agreeing with our client after opening sealed bids. Placing orders with companies after approval and keeping pricing logs to the full total for each supplier. Once the orders are placed commence sending out questionnaires to find out contact names and telephone numbers to progress the orders up to completion. Agreeing milestone payments throughout the contract with the suppliers, ensuring that payments are maintained and on time. Attending meetings with the client on a fortnightly basis to discuss urgent priority materials required on site. Vendor visits arranged at later dates if problems occur and deliveries slip.

Working with a team of six buyers opening sealed bids with the client and then placing orders with a number of suppliers.Keeping logs of milestone payments on the system, agreeing with the Accounts Department invoice amounts to ensure payment is made to suppliers on time. Closely liaising with the Engineers to agree the requisition requirements and scope of supply.Expediting and travelling throughout Europe and the UK on a regular basis to suppliers and sub-suppliers to ensure that agreed delivery dates are met. Receiving documentation for approval and design before remitting to site for construction. Once materials are delivered to site we agree the payment of invoices in stages.
