My name is Anthony Brown, I am 26 years old and I am from Rockland County, New York. I am driven by life. I truly believe what we put into life is exactly what you will get out of it. I started working when I was 13 because I wanted to make my own money and buy things for myself when I wanted to. I got paid $5 an hour working in a local deli in my town and the first rule I was given by the owner was "for every tray of bacon I burned, $5 would be subtracted from my pay. I learned 3 things that day, I was eager to not burn that bacon even though he had me doing multiple other tasks, $5 an hour was not a lot of money, I already knew I wanted more. Not more money but more knowledge, more responsibility, more challenges, anything to learn that I could use elsewhere and later on in my life. After about 2 years at that deli I took what I learned there and found multiple other jobs that I never thought I would be doing. Between working at a pizza place as a delivery driver, pizza maker, server, cook all in one. To then becoming a bartender and shortly after a bar/restaurant manager.I am currently employed I am a Lead Environmental Service Aide at Montefiore Nyack Hospital for 3 years now. From 13 to currently 26 I've found myself eager for more once again. I've learned a lot about myself in all these years of working. I am a fast learner. I am a work horse, I'm not done until the task at hand is 100% completed. I am a team player, I love to inspire others and help them however I can and give them knowledge that took me time to learn. I am a problem solver, I love to push my brain to new limits to figure out a solution to a problem and use all my resources appropriately to help me find that solution. I am skilled with my hands, I am able to use drills, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers etc. As I said in the beginning, I am driven by life. Knowledge to me is what a lot of life is about, the more you have the more you can do whether it's for yourself or for a company you work for.I will continue to achieve the most knowledge I can because know I want the most out of life as humanly possible!

  It is my responsibility as the Environmental Services (EVS) Lead to assist in the coordination of work activities, and projects of the Environmental Services Department. Environmental Services Lead assists the Environmental Services Supervisors and Manager in the completion of scheduled projects as well as assisting the departmental staff in the completion of their assigned tasks and assigning tasks and in the absence of a EVS Supervisor or Manager makes decisions to maintain EVS operations. The Environmental Services Lead communicates and works closely with all other departments in the coordination of departmental related activities and requests.
