Direct formulation and deployment of bidding and contracting strategy and negotiations for 17 health systems with 120 member hospitals; $1.5+ billion in combined annual supply purchases. Develop formal request for proposals and lead/support team in contract development, complex financial analyses, and vendor negotiations.• Lead management of multiple projects, in collaboration with members, clinical committees, and administrative leaders. Perform analyses, generate initiatives, analyze bid options, and negotiate contracts. Build / maintain productive vendor relations, critical to responding effectively to service-level issues.• Charged with understanding and following all compliance guidelines related to patient safety and confidentiality; trusted to maintain confidentiality of pricing among vendors and other outside parties.• Liaise effectively between operations, clinical committees, and Vizient resources to encourage information sharing, while promoting consensus among physicians, clinical leadership, and administrators.• Provide subject matter expertise and support to other Coalition Contract Specialists regarding deployment of over-arching contracting strategy, member involvement, and required escalation. • Demonstrate skill in delivering presentations to large groups of supply chain executive stakeholders.
