MRO TECHNICIAN:Perform repairs to aircraft assemblies for air conditioning and heating systems for airplanes, helicopters and jets for private companies, government agencies and military by replacing worn out or defective parts and rebuild to service bulletins and engineering drawing specifications. Disassemble, inspect, disposition and reassemble customer field returns in accordance with component overhaul manual and/ or other approved technical documents. Perform all tasks to the FAA, EASA, CAAC approved procedures. Order parts for rebuild using Quantum system. Effectively communicate with customers and auditors as needed. Possess a clear understanding of all FAA, EASA, and CAAC approved procedures. Maintain a current knowledge of all requirements. Prepare a concise and accurate documentation package for every repaired or overhaul unit. Participate in the departmental continuous improvement projects. Perform other duties as directed by my supervisor which could include receiving, shipping, final test and non- destructive testing. Excellent interpersonal skills; in particular using sound judgment in training skills.ASSEMBLER:Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
