As a DEI& SEL Facilitator, Motivational Orator, and Cultural Advocate, I leverage Social Art, Storytelling, and Experiential Learning to help companies and communities create empathy and belonging that fosters an equitable, meaningful, and amazing existence.Partnerships: The Golden State Warriors, The Giants, The Culture Summit, The Department of Labor, Adobe, Soulshoppe. Diversity Committee Coordinator- I was proud to support and create many of the first affinity clubs: Polynesian, Irish, Latino, and African American. With programs administered by the US department of labor, I designed and implemented Career Success Standards for all staff and students emphasizing resiliency & youth voices. School Care Coordinator- As an independent contractor for child based organizations; I help create bully free schools & systems that embrace and teach SEL and belonging as core strategies for studentS. When our teachers aren't worried about behavior they can get to more effective ways of teaching. Facilitator Care Coordinator- There’s nothing quite like seeing someone’s “ah ha” moment when you can feel the connection was received and growth is on the rise. KCBZ Radio Personality for SitCir- “Situation & Circumstance,” is a show I created/developed for Kcbzradio.com to provide a platform for respectful diverse conversations about our culture, social change, pop culture, and currently trending topics across the world. NOTHING is off the table. Every Tuesday at 7:15pst you’re invited to join. Meditation Facilitator- I provide unique and innovative Meditations for the Soul and Town Hall meetings to help support and facilitate sensitive topics (race, gender, micro-aggressions, empathy in the work place, etc) by creating brave & safe places to communicate.Script Writer & Illustrator- created interactive SEL content. As lead illustrator it was very important to me that children see themselves in the characters and diversity shined through. And HAVING FUN!In all of these capacities I strive to create impactful cultures that learn from mistakes and creates reasonable solutions and practices that can heal our world! When I’m not engaged with enhancing cultural relativism, Script writing & Character Illustrations, & creating curriculum/lesson plans, facilitating to a room full of kids or leading workshops for big business, or even hosting an Internet Radio Talk show or writing sexy poetry, you might find me searching for mythical creatures in the Redwoods of Oakland or the Deserts of Las Vegas via Pokemon Go. :-)
