• Serve as an Avionics CDQAR (Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative)• Perform training to Marines and civilians on correct maintenance procedures for (31) AV-8B Aircraft.• Ensure compliance to all Naval Aviation Maintenance Practices (NAMP)• Perform final in-process inspections for FCF (Functional Check Flight) aircraft.• NATOPS engine turn-up instructor. Responsible for training new Marines how to safely perform engine run-up on all AV-8B aircraft assigned.• Liaison with local agencies to acquire required parts for maintenance on aircraft.• Provide in-depth analysis of detailed aircraft wiring schematics.• Possesses in-depth knowledge of Navy/Marine Corps communication and navigation systems to include: LINK-16, APX-123, ALR-67 and APG-65 Radar. This includes: removal and install, troubleshooting circuit cards, safe handling and storage and using engineer schematics to diagnose faulty components.• Perform program and work-center audits as directed by Quality Assurance ensuring compliance with all orders and directives are adhered to.
