Contract work with the US Naval Research Laboratory.I developed and implemented algorithms applying machine learning techniques to open problems in Computer Vision. In my published research, I successfully created a new application of Compressed Sensing for single-shot detection which improved accuracy as much as 30% over older algorithms.In my work, I generated and collected image data sets for algorithm testing, and studied new metrics for image quality to best quantify results. I also created neural networks such as GANs and ResNets which could be used to solve image reconstruction problems and were directly applied to camera engineering projects.
