I have a unique skill set which I’ve developed through my extensive experience in labor relations and human resources. I currently serve as a Union Representative where I have led more than ten thousand (10,000) educators, who work for various school employers throughout Southern California (public, private, TK-12, Higher Education, etc.), in their quest for fair wages and working conditions. I have also managed the employee-relation functions of a small private security firm as a Human Resource Supervisor.I have led over 40 different bargaining teams as the lead negotiator throughout my tenure as a Union Representative, as well as represented employees in disciplinary proceedings and grievances at all stages, including arbitration. Additionally, I have worked closely with the Public Employment Relations Board and National Labor Relations Board on both unfair labor practice charges and negotiation impasses.A key strength I have developed and refined is the ability to develop relationships that are critical to securing positive labor relation between management, employees, unions and their leaders.
