Contract-to-hire position. Primary duties involved taking ownership of an incomplete C#/ASP.NET 2.0 application intended to provide clients with virtual versions of FAF's fund fact sheets. This application was almost completely data driven. A C#/ASP.NET 1.1 web application provided an interface for administrators and managers to configure and control the data that was consumed by the aforementioned .NET 2.0 web app. In addition, support was required for several VB.NET batch processes that moved data from a remote Sybase system and a number of text-file-based extracts into the application's database.I declined the full time position offer. Was rolled off contract on 11/2/2007.

Provided direct consultation to business managers and business users for enhancements and extensions to the Focused Diligence project, a loan decisioning application that I had converted from Access in the previous year. Provided architectural and systems analysis expertise for the .NET application framework upon which many of GMAC's web-based applications run.

Access database support. Responsible for handling requests for technical assistance with applications. Troubleshooting access problems, software bugs, data integrity issues, coding issues. Directly responsible for 30 Access applications, helped team support a pool of 200 Access applications.Access replatform initiative. Responsible for converting Access applications to C# .NET using Oracle as a back-end. Successfully completed a large conversion project that has saved the company $6 million in two years of operation.
